At age 97 Evelyn Elmer peacefully passed away of natural causes on Sunday, January 27, 2019. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Elmer (1917-2007). She will be missed by her family, her daughter Cheri Hamlin, granddaughter Amy Hickox Nadash (Dan), grandson Craig Hickox, and her great-grandsons Bennett and Carson Nadash. She has two surviving sisters, Loretta Hocking and Luella Fassett. She was loved and will be remembered fondly by many nieces and nephews. A member of the Milano family of Sacramento, Evelyn spent her working career at Cal-West Life Insurance Company where she made life long friendships that, along with her large loving family, carried her through her years in retirement.
A memorial service for the family will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, Evelyn's family would like to suggest that you consider a charitable contribution to the only church she attended, Immaculate Conception Parrish, 3263 1st Ave, Sacramento, CA 95817.
