Obituary for Patricia A. “Pat” Gribble Print Patricia A. “Pat” Gribble, 87, Independence, MO passed away Feb. 18, 2019. Memorial services will begin at 2 pm, Friday, March 1 at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055; cremation. Visitation will begin at 1 pm before the service at the chapel. Pat was born Aug. 9, 1931 in Sioux City, IA. She taught math in Iowa before moving to Independence and opening the Rustic Yearnings Quilt Shop on 40 Highway with her daughter, Debra. She loved dogs and raised Pugs at one time. She loved music and enjoyed singing. She enjoyed dining out and playing cards – especially Bridge. She also loved playing Bunko with her group. Pat was preceded in death by son Terrance “Terry” Parsley, daughter Debra Zahnd and son-in-law Mark Zahnd. She is survived by son John Gribble, Independence, MO and many friends from Blue Springs.
