Nedra Everling June 21, 1927 – February 01, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Nedra Everling, age 91, of Tipton, Indiana passed away on Friday February 1, 2019 at IU Health in Tipton. Nedra was born on June 6, 1927 to Alvin and Fern (Morris) Gray. In 1947 she married Frank Everling and he preceded her in death in 1975. Nedra was a member of the Ash Street Wesleyan Church of Tipton. In her spare time she enjoyed reading, word search puzzles, listening to music, and primitive tent camping. Above all she cherished the time spent with her family, especially the grandchildren, great grandchildren and the great great grandchildren. Nedra was a longtime employee at the Tipton Nursing Home for 27 years prior to it’s closing. Survivors include, her children; Susan, Vickie, Frankie, Sara, Mike, Rory and Greg. Also surviving are 20 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren. Nedra was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a daughter Julie, grandchildren; Bryan, Tye and Trenton Visitation is from 4 PM to 6 PM on Friday February 8, 2019 at the Porter Funeral Home located at 726 East North Street in Tipton. Funeral services will take place at 6 PM following the visitation time. Pastor Logan Westrick will be officiating.
