Marsha K. Scott, age 78, of Bridgeport, IL passed away Friday February 22, 2019 at Aperion Care in Bridgeport, IL. She was born February 19, 1941 in Lawrenceville, IL the daughter of William H. and Muriel J. (Bullock) Klar Jr. On January 8, 1962 she married John “Hugh” Scott. He survives. Marsha worked at Golden Rule Insurance in Lawrenceville, IL for twenty years. She attended the Highway Church of God. She enjoyed crocheting, spending time outdoors, splitting wood, mowing, and spending time with Hugh. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brothers, Timothy and Larry. Along with her husband, she is survived by two sons, Kevin Lee Scott of Altamont, IL, Rodney Scott of Hutsonville, IL, a sister, Marilyn Sue Blanchard of Lawrenceville, IL, three grandchildren, Miranda Krohn, Kelly Thompson, Lacy Scott, and nine great-grandchildren. The funeral will be Friday March 1, 2019 at 1:00pm at the Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Lawrenceville City Cemetery.
