Sterling passed away Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at St. Joseph Mt. Sterling. He was born July 6, 1937 to the late Sidney and Mayme Stone. He was a member of First Christian Church and owner of Lyle Stone Signs. He is survived by his wife Gayle Hughes Stone of Mt. Sterling, KY; two sons, Greg Stone (Deadra) of Mt. Sterling, KY; Jeff Stone of Mt. Sterling, KY; one daughter, Regina Calvert (Steve) of Mt. Sterling, KY; one brother, Charles Price Stone (Millie) of Cincinnati, OH; and four grandchildren, Taylor Calvert, Tanner Calvert, Amber Stone and Clay Stone. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Sidney Stone, Jr. and Ronald Stone. Funeral will be a private family graveside service with Scott Holley officiating on Saturday. Public visitation will be 6-9 PM, Friday, March 1, 2019 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel. Pallbearers will be Tim Calvert, Brian Holley, Freddie Grigsby, Tom Cannon, Bill Gay and David Helton.
