Kenji’s Obituary Kenji J. Waddy 35 of Mound City, IL was born to Alice Brown on August 24, 1983 in Cairo, IL. He departed this life at his residence on Thursday February 21, 2019. Kenji grew up in Joppa, IL and graduated from Joppa High School. He was employed by Ingram Barge Company as a deckhand. He loved being around family and friends, especially his children. He was preceded in death by his Grandmother, Bessie Brown and one Aunt, Elizabeth Stewart. Kenji leaves to cherish his memories his four children: Kaleb Waddy, Kameron Waddy, Kenji J. Waddy, Jr. and Kobe Waddy, his mother and stepfather Alice(Perry) Crossland, sisters, Marcia Brown-Wells (Kevin), Trondia Mathis (Terry Douglas) and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins other relatives and friends. Services for Kenji J. Waddy will be held on Saturday March 2, 2019 at the Massie Funeral Home in Mounds, IL. Friends may call on Saturday at the Funeral Home from 11:00am until 12:00pm. Funeral will follow at 12:00pm with Pastor Enloe Clemons, officiating. Cremation Services will be Accorded following the Funeral Ceremony.
