Judith D. Schulthess, 79, of Angola, passed away Thursday, Feb. 21, 2019, at Aperion Care in Angola. She was born Sept. 9, 1939, in Chicago, to the late Tony and Dorothy (Hetan) Holz. She married Edmond L. “Ed” Schulthess on June 10, 1960, in Chicago, and he passed away Aug. 4, 2018. Judith worked for Wieboldt Department Store in Chicago as a saleswoman for 20 years. She then went to work for the Dana Corp. in Angola for 10 years, retiring in 1998. Judith loved quilting. Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Edmond L. Schulthess Jr. and Linda Schulthess of Chicago, and Kenneth J. and Linda Schulthess of Ashley; two grandchildren, Lauren Schulthess and Edmond Schulthess; three step-grandchildren, Jamie Deller, Robbie Deller and Austin Berry; and six step-great-grandchildren. Services will be 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 25, 2019, at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 875 S. Wayne St., Waterloo, with Pastor Mike Hesterman officiating. Burial will take place in Christian Union Cemetery in rural Garrett. Visitation will be from noon-2 p.m. Monday prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
