Mr. Jimmy Earley Mullis, 57, passed away Saturday, February 16, 2019, at CHS-NorthEast in Concord. A funeral service is scheduled for 1:00 pm Tuesday, February 19, 2019, at Solid Rock Worship Center. Rev. Mikey Wooldridge and Rev. Raymond Davis will officiate. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park in China Grove. The family will receive friends from 12 to 12:45 pm Tuesday at Solid Rock Worship Center. Mr. Mullis was born November 19, 1961 in Concord. He was a son of Ruby “Peggy” Crowley Mullis of Kannapolis and the late William “Sonny” Monroe Mullis. He was a member of Solid Rock Worship Center. He enjoyed gardening and working in his yard. Jimmy also loved spending time with his family and going to church when his health permitted. Prior to being disabled, he worked for Larry Tucker Septic Tank Service. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife Angela Bauguess Mullis; step-daughter, Ashley Hager and husband Nathan of Kannapolis; sister, Linda M. Lowder and husband Dwight of Kannapolis; brother, William R. Mullis and wife Lisa of Ruby, SC; mother-in-law, Annie Williams; niece, Diane Lowder; two nephews, Shannon Lowder and William R. Mullis, Jr.; five grandchildren; four great nieces; and three great nephews. Memorials may be sent to the National Kidney Foundation, 933 Louise Ave #101B, Charlotte, NC 28204.
