GOLDIE’s Obituary Goldie Rea Pogue Crouch, 97 and a member of a pioneer DeSoto family, passed away in Waxahachie early Sunday morning. Goldie was born in Lancaster, Texas, raised her family in DeSoto and was also a cafeteria worker for the DeSoto Independent School District. She was a member of Brookhollow Baptist Church for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years in 2013: A J Crouch, and a great granddaughter: Mikala Nicole Hoggatt. Survivors include a son, Bill Crouch and wife: Judy of Waxahachie, daughter: Ginger Darlene Hoggatt and husband: Dale of Athens, TX and son: Clifford Crouch of Lohn, Texas, Grandchildren: Cyndi Moore and husband: Tommy, Mindy Moody and husband: Bart, Kristi Hoggatt, Kase Hoggatt, Brandi Crouch and Cody Crouch. Thirteen great-grandchildren, and five great- great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at the funeral home with Services at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at West/Hurtt Funeral Home.
