Obituary for Elmo Murray Dinsmore Jr. Print Elmo Murray Dinsmore, Jr., 72, of Farnham, VA, born November 12, 1946 died peacefully at home on February 19, 2019. He is preceded in death by his parents, Elmo M. Dinsmore and Mildred B. Dinsmore. Elmo is survived by his brother, John R. Dinsmore (Robin) of Warsaw; nephew, John “Robbie” Dinsmore, Jr. (Kelley) Lincoln University, PA; nieces, Tracey B. Irvine (Steve) Granite Falls, NC, and Christine B. Wade (Scott) Charleston, WV; numerous great nephews and nieces; and aunts, Katherine Sullivan of Farnham, VA and Clara Bryant Callao, VA. Mr. Dinsmore worked for Pepsi Cola in Warsaw, Martin-Sale in Tappahannock, operated Tappahannock Chevron from 1981 to 1989 and worked for J.R. Dinsmore Enterprises from 1989 until his retirement. Elmo loved Nascar and knew every driver, their families, where they were from and their standing s in the races. His other love was planting wildflowers to watch the butterflies and the birds. A graveside service will be held at 11 am on Monday, February 25, 2019 at Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Bethany Baptist Church cemetery or building fund at PO Box 641 Callao, VA 22435 or plant some wildflowers.
