Obituary for Edward C. Magierski Edward C. Magierski, 95 of Toms River, died February 9, 2019. Edward was born July 31, 1923 in Jersey City, New Jersey to the late Julian and Jeanette Magierski. He was devoted to his family. Upon graduation from high school he enlisted in the military and proudly served his country during WWII in the United States Army and was involved in the invasion of Normandy and the Battle of the Bulge. He worked for Coy-Hunt Paper Company in New York City as an ICC Practitioner and Traffic Manager. In his retirement Edward loved to travel visiting nearly all 50 states, most of the countries in Europe as well as a “dream” trip to Australia. Edward is predeceased by his parents, his loving wife, Helen Borchers Magierski; daughter, Barbara Avery; brothers, Thaddeus Magierski; George Magierski and son in law Robert Avery. Edward is survived by his daughter, Gail Seidel and her husband James. The family will receive friends and relatives on Thursday, February 14, 2019 from 11am to 1pm at Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 145 St. Catherine Blvd, Toms River. Committal Services will follow at Ocean County Memorial Park, 1722 Silverton Road, Toms River.
