Hartselle We lost our beautiful, funny, loving Momma, Grandmother and Great Grandmother on February 19, 2019 and our world is forever changed, A Celebration of Life service for Doris Eileen Mitchell Tolbert, 88, will be Friday, February 22, 2019 at 1:30 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jim Roberts officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Burningtree Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Friday, February 22, 2019 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at Peck Funeral Home. Mrs. Tolbert was born September 19, 1930, in Franklin County to Mell Wyley Mitchell and Edna Ollie Modena James Mitchell. Mrs. Tolbert had been employed with various hospitals including, Hartselle Hospital, Pineview Hospital, Decatur General, and Summerford Nursing Home as a Hospital Administrator and an Activities Coordinator. She was preceded in death by her husband: James Howard Tolbert, her parents and eleven siblings. Survivors include: One Son: Jeffery L.
