Alvin Mullins, age 61, passed away on Sunday, February 24, 2019 at NOVANT Health Systems UVA Culpeper Hospital, Culpeper, VA. He was born on October 2, 1957 in Falls Church, Virginia to the late Bobby Ray and Mary Ruth (Collins) Mullins. Alvin loved working on cars and running in the Derbys. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, hunting and working in his garden. Survivors include three children: Cory Frye, Jimmy Mullins and Heather Mullins all of Manassas, VA; two brothers: Roger Mullins of Remington, VA; and Bobby Mullins and wife Theresa of Culpeper, VA; one sister: Janie Haynes and husband David of Remington, VA; three grandchildren: Angela, Kaydin and Cameron Mullins. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 28, 2019 from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Pierce Funeral Home, 9609 Center Street, Manassas, VA. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, March 1, 2019 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home with Rev. Dr. Billy G. Tatum officiating. Interment will be private.
