Milton Roy Prewitt passed away peacefully on January 25, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, January 29, 2023 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Rev. Carolyn Nobling and Rev. Michael Guertin officiating. Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. until the hour of service. Roy was born on April 27, 1948, in Houston, Texas to William P. Prewitt and Mildred B. Barker-Prewitt. He made his life in Clarksville, Tennessee where he met his wife, the love of his life Linda Sue Prewitt. Together they were blessed with two boys Chris and Ben. Roy made his career with Bunny Bread, he was active in The Clarksville Pond Society, and participated in bowling leagues at Skyline. He enjoyed restoring cars, gardening, cooking, and watching football. Roy most enjoyed hosting his family and friends in his garden where he had beautiful flowers and plants with the most amazing pond. He is survived by his wife of 53 years Linda Hornback Prewitt, sons Chris (Kali) Prewitt, Ben (Felicia) Prewitt, his canine companion Gracie. Grandchildren Brennen, Hunter, Devin, Donavan, Haylee, Tristan, and Raiden. Brother John (Jerre) Prewitt of Jacksonville, Texas; Sister Kathlynn Prewitt-Cooper of Houston, Texas; Sister-In-Law Barbara (Ray) Usina of Clarksville, Tennessee; Brother-In-Law David (Michelle) Hornback of Clarksville, Tennessee; and many wonderful nieces and nephews.
