Kevin J. Guziec, 43, of Dunkirk, passed away, unexpectedly, Tuesday, March 14, at home. Born March 2, 1980, in Dunkirk, son of the late Thomas J. Guziec and late Susan (Lesch) Guziec. A graduate of Dunkirk High and attended Jamestown Community College. In his younger days he payed little league baseball. Kevin was an avid sports fan of the Green Bay Packers and Cleveland Indians. And also played Guitar and enjoyed Classic Rock Music, Iron Maiden. Surviving is his maternal grandmother Josephine Wilkosz of Sheridan, brother Thomas Guziez Jr. of Dunkirk, James (Katie) Guziec of Angola, Katherine (Jason) Tomkiewicz of Sheridan, his K9 companion “Keith”. Also surviving are Several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death are his parents and paternal grandparents and maternal grandfather. Relatives and friends are welcome to call Sunday from 4-7 PM at the R. Mackowiak Funeral Home Inc., 56 E Doughty St. Funeral services will be Monday morning at 10 AM in BMA Parish Church of St. Hedwig. Interment will be in St. Hedwig’s Cemetery. Flowers are gratefully declined and memorials can be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 1344 University Ave #270, Rochester, NY 14607 or Lake Shore Humane Society, 431 E. Chestnut St. Dunkirk, NY 14048.
