Obituary It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dorothy Reeves. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Dot passed away peacefully at her home after a brief illness on Sunday January 29, 2023. She was born Sunday February 16, 1936 in Cookeville to the late Seth and Willie Ann Weaver Hunter. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bill, and granddaughter, Terri Beth, as well as her brothers and sister. She will be forever missed by her daughter, Kathy. She was blessed with four grandchildren and six great grands who loved her and enjoyed trips to “Dot, Dots” house. The greatest gift that she left her family was her unwavering faith in the Lord. We always knew she was praying for us! She was a long-time member of Hampton’s Crossroads Baptist Church. We know she entered the gates of heaven happy, healthy and whole. Graveside services and interment will be at 10 a.m. Friday February 3rd at Cookeville City Cemetery. Pastor Maston Jackson will officiate. Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements (931)526-6111. Share memories and condolences at www.hhhfunerals.com.
