Manning, 29, of Pierce Street died unexpectedly at his home on Tuesday January 8, 2019. Born September 6, 1989 in Springfield, MA, the son of Kenneth Dewayne and Karen Louise (Town) Manning, Jr. Billy, or Will as he preferred in his adult life, was truly an amazing young man who lived a lot of life in his short 29 years. He had a love for life that was contagious. Every moment was his favorite moment. He could light up a room with his smile and he sure loved people. He had so many special relationships and people that surrounded him during his lifetime. He was a nurturer in his soul and a healer in his heart. He focused on jobs in the medical field, with training in acupuncture, sleep medicine and was working recently as a Pharmacy Tech at the Rite Aid in Exeter. Billy/Will was a gifted musician. He could pick up any instrument and teach himself how to play it. He loved playing his saxophone, clarinet, flute, piano, but his true love was the oboe. He also had a beautiful bass voice and sang in many groups throughout his lifetime, both school groups and community groups. Singing together with his mom, dad, sister and brother was a real treat. His last concert was in December where he and his husband Chris sang with the Community Chorus of South Berwick. Billy/Will loved nature and embraced many different avenues of spirituality. He was well versed in Eastern philosophies and meditation, as well as established religious doctrines. He lived in Hawaii for six years where he embraced nature and holistic healing. He moved back home two and a half years ago in September, 2016. to be nearer to his family. Very soon after he moved home he met and fell in love with his soul mate, Chris. They were married last December, 2017. He also took advantage of living closer and fully embraced being a husband, a son, a brother and an uncle. He cherished all these relationships and opportunities he had to spend time with his husband, his sister, his brother, his parents and most important, his nephews and nieces. Billy/Will had a special spark inside him that was contagious. He had a smile that touched people and made them happy. He had a kind and generous spirit that he shared with everyone. He was a goofball and a serious person at the same time. He lived his short life fully and with a lot of energy. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
