William “Bill” Reher, 66, lifelong resident of Grand Island passed away on Thursday, January 17, 2019 at Park Place Care Center. To honor Bill’s wishes, private family burial will take place at Grand Island City Cemetery. All Faiths Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements. Bill was born on June 5, 1952 in Grand Island, the second son of Gilbert and Lolita (Jones) Reher. Bill attended Stolley Park Grade School and graduated from Northwest High School. He was employed by many local construction companies and was always ready to help where he could. Bill was married to Renee Robinson and while the union didn’t last the couple was blessed with a son, Seth. Bill was a skilled woodworker and enjoyed the outdoors. He was a gun enthusiast and enjoyed hunting area wildlife. He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Lolita and Jerome Wiess of Grand Island; son, Seth (Cassie) Reher of Lincoln; brothers, Robert “Bob” Reher of McCook, and G. Daniel “Dan” (Diane) Reher of Grand Island; nephew, Joshua (Sarah) Reher of Grand Island; along with numerous extended family and friends. Bill was preceded in death by his father, Gilbert Reher.
