The Celebration of Life for Rubbie Forest, age 76 of Clarksville, will be Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at 12:00 PM at Living Word International Ministries (REOC). Burial will follow in KY Veterans Cemetery West. The family will receive friends at the church from 10:30 AM until the time of service. Rubbie passed away on Thursday, January 24, 2019. She was born on August 1, 1942 in Montgomery, Alabama to John and Elizabeth Fuller McCray. She was a founding member of Living Word International Ministries, served on the Mothers Board, Decorating Committee, Northeast High School Math Class Decorator, and the #1 encourager of her pastor. Rubbie was a wonderful homemaker who loved writing, painting, sewing, shopping, and dancing. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by brothers; John Franklin McCray and Jimmy Luther McCray She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Joe Forest; son, Reggie (Isabel) Forest; daughter, Penny Forest; sisters, Angerline Day, Sophia Carpenter, Bobbie Ruth McCall; and grandchildren, Keai, Nina and Roland.
