Obituary of Robert Sharpe SCHENECTADY – Mr. Robert A. “Bobby” Sharpe, age 55, of Schenectady, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday evening, January 27, 2019. Born on November 11, 1963, Robert was the son of the late Russell and Jacqueline (Greene) Sharpe. Upon his graduation from high school, he proudly enlisted with the United States Air Force and served his country for many years. In recent years, Bobby has held a position at the Days Inn by Wyndham in Schenectady where his co-workers became not only his friends, but also his second family. He will be missed by his sister and brother-in-law, Laurie and John Lyga of South Carolina; his niece, Allyson and his nephew, Steven. Spring interment will take place in St. Johnsville Cemetery where Bobby will be laid to rest with his parents.
