Rick Dean Crites, 60, of Attica, KS, died Thursday, January 17, 2019 at Via Christi-St. Francis Hospital, Wichita, KS. He was born on September 3, 1958 in Medicine Lodge, KS, the son of Eugene Crites and Peggy Jo (Rutan) Crites. He married Martha Crites of Nashville, KS on March 21, 1980. Rick was a farmer and rancher and worked many years in the oil fields. He enjoyed riding his Harley and spending time with his family and grandkids. Surviving are three daughters, Kim (Jay) Warman of Sawyer, KS, Krystal (Clifford) Parkins of Great Bend, KS, and Kelsey ( Scott) Murphy of Great Bend, KS; two brothers, Lonnie (Tammy) Crites of Anthony, KS and Larry (Betty) Crites of Danville, AR; five grandchildren, Piper Parkins, Leddie Parkins, Zoey Murphy, Kamden Murphy, and Avery Murphy; his companion, Pat Davis of Attica, KS; Several nieces and nephews. Rick was preceded in death by his parents, a grandson, Michael Parkins, and four brothers, Jerry, Toby, Billy, and Terry Crites. Visitation will be on Monday, January 21, 2019 from Noon to 7:00 p.m., with family present from 5-7 p.m. at Larrison Funeral Home, 120 E. Lincoln, Medicine Lodge, KS 67104. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at 11:00 a.m., at Larrison Funeral Home, Medicine Lodge, KS with Pastor Tom Walters officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery, Medicine Lodge, KS. Condolences may be left at www.larrisonmortuary.com.
