OBITUARY Richard Stockton Veazey April 11, 1931 – December 29, 2018 Richard S. Veazey, 87, passed away on December 29, 2018. He was born April 11, 1931 to Louis A. Veazey and Alice Chambers Veazey in Charleston, West Virginia. He attended Charleston Catholic High Schoo, Marshall University and the University of Pittsburg where he graduated as a dentist. He served in the United State Air Force for two years, based in Wiesbauen, Germany. He married his wife, Mary Ann, an Air Force nurse, in Switzerland in 1958. He was a dentist for many years before retiring. His favorite pastimes were playing billiards, bowling, golf, line dancing, gardening, traveling, which included many cruises, and chaired “Adopt a Road” for many years. He was a member of the West Virginia Dental Society, a lifetime member of the American Dental Association and a member of Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church. He was predeceased by his loving wife Mary Ann, sister, Jane Ann Lewis, sister Norma ton, and a son, Louis Alan Veazey. He is survived by his sons Gregory and Mark, sisters Joanette Gould and Martha Ditrapano, both of Charleston, West Virginia.
