Obituary for Nancy Louise Clark (Miller) Nancy L. Clark, age 70 of Greenville, went to live with her Lord on Saturday, January 19, 2019, passing away at Hathway Hills Assisted Living Memory Care unit in Greenville. She was born the daughter of Edson and Leila (Sweet) Miller in Almont and they precede her in death as well as a great niece, Stephanie Rice. A graduate of Rose City High School, class of 1966, Nancy continued her education at Central Michigan University where she received her bachelors degree in education. She taught math at several schools including, Clarkston, Evart, Belding, Montcalm Community College and Greenville Public Schools, where she retired from. Nancy was an active member of the First United Methodist Church of Greenville where she was a dedicated Stephen Ministry Leader. She also enjoyed tending to her flowers and vegetable garden. Nancy enjoyed scrapbooking with her daughter Kim. Most of her scrapbooks were of the trips she and Bob took and there were lots of things to document as together they traveled to all 7 continents, 24 countries, all 50 states and every Canadian Province. However, Nancy’s favorite thing to do was spend time with her family, especially her two granddaughters, Emma & Allison. Surviving Nancy is her husband of 45 years, Bob Clark; daughter, Kim (Bill Jr.) Simpson of Sheridan; son, Rob (Karen) Clark of Greenville; granddaughter’s Emma & Allison Simpson both of Sheridan; sisters, Rose Marie (Dan) Benjamin of Mt. Pleasant; Beth (Ron) Quick of West Branch; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Betty & Matt Mier of West Branch and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation with Nancy’s family will be from 3-9 PM on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at the Simpson Family Funeral Home in Sheridan (246 S. Main Street). Funeral services for Nancy will begin at 11 AM on Thursday, January 24, 2019 at the First United Methodist Church in Greenville (204 W. Cass Street). There will also be visitation at the church on Thursday from 9-11 AM. Nancy will be laid to rest in Lane Heights cemetery in Lupton, Michigan. For those wanting to make a memorial donation in Nancy’s memory the family suggests you direct them to either the Clay Street Adult Center or First United Methodist Church.
