VAN DYK, Margretta (nee Veenstra) – 90, of Prospect Park passed away on January 30, 2019. Born and raised in Prospect Park, she lived in Wantage before moving to Wyckoff in 2009. Prior to her retirement she was a Secretary/Administrative Assistant for Theodore Bruinsma in Prospect Park. Margretta was a member of Unity Christian Reformed Church. Beloved wife of the late John Van Dyk (2004). Devoted daughter of John and Gertrude (nee Van Dyk) Veenstra. Loving sister of Milo “Mike” Veenstra of North Haledon and Gerard Veenstra of North Haledon. The family will receive family and friends on Saturday from 10-11:30 am followed by an 11:30 am Service at Vander Plaat-Vermeulen Memorial Home, 530 High Mountain Road, Franklin Lakes The family requests donations be made in Margretta’s memory to Eastern Christian School Association, 50 Oakwood Avenue, North Haledon, NJ 07508.
