Loretta’s Obituary Loretta Ann Todd, 75, passed away on January 17, 2019 in Charlotte NC. She was born on December 1, 1943 to the late Robert and Evelyn Todd. Along with her parents, Loretta is preceded in death by her sister, Joan T. Thompson; nephew, Mark Thompson; and grandnephew, Will T. Brennan. Loretta is survived by her sister, Jan T. Spurgeon; brother, Clayton Todd (Jo); brother-in-law, Norman A. Thompson; nephews Darren Spurgeon, Rob Todd, Wesley Todd, Alan Thompson, Donnie Thompson; nieces, Susan T. King, Joni T. Turpin, Kamin Brennan; and special friend, Deanna T. Jones. She is also survived by numerous greatnephews and greatnieces. Loretta enjoyed 30 plus years of teaching children. She was artistically inclined with ceramics and different types of art. Loretta was very witty her entire life. She loved watching the North Carolina Tarheels and Carolina Panthers football. A special thanks to Loretta’s caregivers. Memorial contributions may be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation or Cook’s Memorial Presbyterian Church. A memorial service will be held Thursday, January 24, 2019 at 1:00PM at Cook’s Memorial Presbyterian. A visitation will follow the service. Read More
