Linden Prann Vauiso 1934 2019

Obituary of Linden Vauiso Vauiso, Linden P. died quietly on Thursday, January 24, 2019 in Charlotte, North Carolina under the loving care of her eldest daughter, Donna after an extended illness. She was born in New Haven, Connecticut on September 22, 1934 to Bertha and Wesley Prann. She was a proud graduate of the former Hartford School of Nursing- Class of 1954. With her RN Degree secured, she spent her life caring for others. She was Director of Nurses at Fowlers Convalescent Home in Guilford, CT followed by years of service at Hospice Connecticut and retiring from Pinellas County Health Dept. in 2002 working pregnancy screening. She was delighted to say she worked from Omega to Alpha. The former wife of Donald Vauiso of St. Petersburg, together they shared 5 children. As a loving mother and grandmother, her family always came first. She will be greatly missed. She is survived by her brother, John Wheeler Prann (Sylvia) of Tucson, AZ as well as 5 children, Mark Vauiso of Orlando, David Vauiso (Katina) of Orlando, Donna Lynch (Edward) of Charlotte, North Carolina, James Vauiso (Robin) of Richmond Hill, Georgia, and Maura Johnson of St. Petersburg. She also leaves 20 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Sunday, February 3, 2019 at Anderson-McQueen Funeral Home, 2201 Dr M.L. King St. N., St. Petersburg, FL from 4-7 pm. A funeral mass on Monday, February 4, 2019 at St Paul’s Catholic Church, 1800 12th St N. St. Petersburg, FL 33704, at 10:30 am. A reception at St Paul’s church following graveside services at Sunnyside Cemetery 5300 19th St. N, St Petersburg FL 33714. In lieu of flowers, please send remembrances to St. Paul’s Catholic Church.
