The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 21, 2018 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Brown officiating. Interment will follow at Kelley Cemetery with David Moye, Greg Burch, Jackie Fleetwood, Benny Weathersby, Walter Landrum, Ted Soderberg and Mark Barnette serving as active pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 20, 2018 at Ivey Funeral Home. Online visitors may sign the guest register at www.iveyfuneral.com. Linda Lou Prevost was born March 20, 1945 in Springfield, Vermont, the daughter of Merle and Helen Tripp Prevost. Linda moved to Bainbridge in 1970. She served people in our community through FSA until her retirement. She was a member of First United Methodist Church. Her nature was to be kind and caring. Every animal on her street knew this and would often drift by for a snack or some free hugs. Linda loved people and was always willing to share a smile and her unforgettable laugh even when times seemed bleak. She opened her heart to her neighbors, who became like family, and extended her legacy of love. Survivors include her children, Cori Soderberg Long and her husband, Roger, of Burleson, TX and Jason Soderberg and his wife, Stephanie, of Hillsboro, OR; her grandchildren, Delaney, Aubrey and Emily; and her siblings, Betty & Neal Seaborn of Wellesley, MA, Cheryl Prevost of Glastonbury, CT and David Prevost of Summit, NJ. In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Musgrove.
