Linda E. Hills Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at Greater New Hope Baptist Church, 509 Garland Ave., Opelousas, LA at 11:00 A.M. for Ms. Linda Hills, 78, who entered eternal rest on Sunday, January 27, 2019 at her residence. Pastor, Rev. Johnny Offord, will officiate the Celebration of Life. Linda leaves to cherish her memory and celebrate her legacy, a loving friend, Raymond Minor; one, son Patrick Edwards (Jonquil Naior) of Houston, TX; two daughters, Constance Manning (Isaac, Jr.) of Fort Wayne, Indiana and Dion Davis (Lester) of New Orleans, LA; a sister, Agnes Chapman Murcendil (Raymond) of New Orleans, LA; ten grandchildren, Tamara, Terralynn, Isaac III, Patrick, Sujuan, Austin, Courtney, Jamal, Kwane, Jonique and a host of great grandchildren other relatives and special friends. Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph E. Hills, Sr., her parents, Dan Edwards, Sr. and Agnes Edwards Johnson and a brother Dan Edwards, Jr. The family request visiting hours be observed on Saturday, February 9, 2019 from 8:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at Greater New Hope Baptist Church in Opelousas, LA.
