Obituary for Kenneth R. Vanek Kenneth R. Vanek, age 75, of Ashtabula, passed away on January 12, 2019. He was born in Cleveland, OH on May 22, 1943 to the late Mickey and Dorothy Vanek. Ken was a barber and proprietor at Styles by Ken and Company for over 53 years. His shop has been on main street Ashtabula for over 25 years. He was AKA the little old wine maker and was the figure head of the Geneva Grape Gamberie for 30 years. Ken was a lifetime Browns fan. He had an excellent sense of humor and always very welcoming to his customers and friends. He was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend, who will be missed. Ken was the beloved father of Patrick (Debbie) Vanek and James Vanek, grandfather of Jason Pudder and Mason Vanek, brother of Doreen, Denise, Bruce and Renee. Ken was preceded in death by his daughter, Veronica Vanek and his brother, Mickey.
