Kathleen’s Obituary KATHLEEN B. CRABTREE, age 73, returned to her departed family and heavenly father on December 22, 2018. Kathleen Crabtree was born to Margaret E. (Harmon) and Henry Buzzard at Grant Hospital in Columbus, Ohio on December 21, 1945. Kathleen attended Marion Franklin High School in Columbus, Ohio where she met Richard C. Crabtree. She graduated with the Class of 1963 and married Richard on June 1, 1963. Kathleen enjoyed going to church, being a homemaker, family gatherings, playing cards, fishing, sewing, writing, watching detective shows and reading her Bible. She also enjoyed her job at Winn-Dixie (Seafood Department) where she made many friends. Kathleen is known as ‘Mom’ by many friends and family. She has also supported children through “Save the Children” ministries. Easiest way to describe Kathleen is she had a heart of gold. Kathleen, you will be truly missed and forever loved. You came into this earth and gave all you could give, we your family love you dearly and will miss you every day. Kathleen is survived by a brother, Leonard (Ida) Wears; daughter, Patricia Crabtree; son, Mitchell (Tenika) Crabtree; grandchildren, Rebecca Monroe, Ashley Monroe, Tanisha Bush, Qunisha Hill, Gabriel Crabtree, Shelby Crabtree, Jacob Crabtree, William Crabtree and a number of great grandchildren and other close family and friends.
