OBITUARY Joyce Brown Eriksen September 17, 1929 – January 30, 2019 Joyce Brown Eriksen, 89 years old, went home to the Lord on January 30, 2019. She resided in Chesapeake, VA, and was a former resident of Mathew’s County, VA. Joyce is preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Norman G. Eriksen. She is survived by three children, Christy Madeo (husband, Pete Madeo), Ronald Eriksen and Russ Eriksen (wife, Tamara Eriksen); eight grandchildren, Eva Mae Honeysuckle, Debra Fay Madeo, Patricia Boyles, Bronwyn Kelly Madeo, Theresa Eriksen Lanphere, Braden Jon Eriksen, Jarrett Nelson Eriksen, and Kelvin Josiah Eriksen; and 18 great-grandchildren. She traveled extensively with her husband as a result of his military career. She mostly enjoyed her role of mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. FAMILY Christy Madeo, Daughter Pete Madeo, Son-in-law Ronald Eriksen, Son Russ Eriksen, Son Tamara Eriksen, Daughter-in-law Mrs. Eriksen also leaves 8 grandchildren, Eva Mae Honeysuckle, Debra Fay Madeo, Patricia Boyles, Bronwyn Kelly Madeo, Theresa Eriksen Lanphere, Braden Jon Eriksen, Jarrett Nelson Eriksen, and Kelvin Josiah Eriksen; and 18 great-grandchildren.
