Obituary John “John Wayne “Wayne Threlkeld, 79, died on December 4, 2018, at his home in Oxford, Mississippi. The funeral service will be Thursday, December 6, 2018, at 12:00 Noon at Shiloh Baptist Church with Rev. Derek Starnes officiating. Burial will follow in Shiloh Cemetery. Visitation will be prior to the service beginning at 10:00 A.M. at Shiloh Baptist Church. Waller Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Born May 24, 1939 in Lafayette County, MS to the late Curl and Lottie Starnes Threlkeld, Mr. Threlkeld was the retired owner of Rebel Motor Freight and LMT Trucking. Mr. Threlkeld was also a farmer and enjoyed working in his hay fields. Survivors include his wife, Lynda Findlay Threlkeld, of Oxford, MS, and a brother, Cowboy Threlkeld and his wife, Bonnie of Oxford, MS, two nephews, Steve Threlkeld and his wife, Renee of Oxford,MS and Chad Threlkeld and his wife, Elizabeth of Oxford, MS.
