OBITUARY Jane Von Behren Dembrun March 26, 1932 – January 30, 2019 Jane Von Behren Dembrun passed away on Wednesday, January 30, 2019. She was 86 years old. She was the devoted wife of the late Joseph S. Dembrun, Sr. Loving mother of Joseph Dembrun, Jr. (Sharon), Bryan Dembrun (Donna), Michael Dembrun, Christopher Dembrun, and Patrick Dembrun (Joni). Grandmother of Joseph Dembrun, III, Kimberly Dupree, Stacey Mann, Matthew Dembrun, Erin Strain, Tara Andrus, Melissa Sciavicco, Christopher Dembrun, Jr., Shawn Dembrun, Jared Dembrun, and Chase Dembrun. She was the proud great-grandmother of 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Emily Fried Von Behren and August E. Von Behren, and by her brother, August E. Von Behren, Jr. (Marie). She also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends. Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue Street, in Chalmette, on Saturday, February 2, 2019, from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM. A funeral service will be held in her honor at 1:00 PM.
