James Travis Brown November 01, 1942 – January 25, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Algoma – James Travis Brown, 76, passed away January 25, 2019 at Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo, MS. He graduated from Algoma High School, was a member of Algoma Baptist Church, retired post-master in Algoma and factory owner. He loved to fish, going to his grandkids ballgames and making memories and spending time with his family. He looked forward to meeting his Lord and Savior. Funeral Services will be Sunday, January 27, 2019 at 3PM at Algoma Baptist Church with Bro. Terry Faulkner and Bro. Don Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Pontotoc Memorial Gardens. Baldwin Memorial Funeral Home in Pontotoc is in charge of arrangements. Survivors include his wife, Shirlene Elliot Brown of 56 years; two sons, Greg (Angie) and Scott (Deidre) Brown and three grandkids, Alex, Cole, and Cade Brown. He was preceded in death by his father, James K. Brown; his mother, Pauline Seales Brown; his sister, Peggy Lynn Brown and his brother, Bobby Brown. Pallbearers: Cole Brown, Cade Brown, Howard Gaskin, Harry Neal Corder, Kim Faulkner and David Owen. Honorary Pallbearers: Robert Faulkner, Clyde Roye, A.M. Norwood and Larry Foster. Visitation will be Sunday, January 27, 1PM until service time. Any donations may be made to Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo, MS.
