Obituary for Felix “Cat” Martinez Felix “Cat” Martinez, 45, of Andrews passed away on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 in Lubbock, Texas. Friends and family will gather to celebrate his life 10:00 AM Saturday, January 12, 2019 in Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with Rev. Anthony Franco officiating. Interment will follow in the Andrews North Cemetery under the personal care of McNett Funeral Home. A Rosary service will be held at 7:00 PM Friday, January 11, 2019 at McNett Funeral Home Chapel. He attended and graduated from Andrews High School. He married Jaurene Cornejo in Andrews in 1991. He worked for a wireline service for many years, he enjoyed being with his family and texting them. Is passion for making Rosaries and working on bicycle’s was well known by family and friends. “Cat” also enjoyed wood working and loved his truck. He was preceded in death by his mother Lucila Martinez, brothers Morgan Martinez and Juan De Dios and a sister Ema Martinez. He is survived by his wife Jaurene of Andrews, five children Samantha Martinez, Larissa Martinez, Arianna Landeros and husband Javier, Natalie Martinez and Dominic Martinez all of Andrews, brothers, Gilbert Martínez and wife Laurie, Cesar Martinez and wife Sarah, sisters, Mirsa Trevino and husband Juan and Mia Martinez all of Andrews, Texas, and six grandchildren.
