Fannie Lorene Porterfield, age 88 of Maryville, TN passed away Tuesday, January 8, 2019. She was a member of Bays Mountain Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. A.J. Porterfield; son, Rev. Jamie Porterfield; infant daughter, Dinah Porterfield; infant grandson, Jason Porterfield; grandson, Joel Porterfield; brothers, J.R., Marvin and Bud Newton; sisters, Martha Sise, Faye Wade, and Beatrice Monroe; step-mother, Frances Newton; mother-in-law, Essie Porterfield; and father-in-law,… Read More » Jim Porterfield. Her survivors include: son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Becky Porterfield; daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Kenny Wallace; daughter-in-law, Judy Porterfield; grandchildren, Cindy Landon and husband Rick, Robert “Hosie” Porterfield and wife Tracey, Jay Porterfield, Jason McKamey, Jessie Cogdill and husband Will; 6 great-grandchildren; sisters, Merline Hensley and Nina Monroe; brother-in-law, Rev. Bob Monroe; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service 7 PM Friday in Atchley’s Seymour Chapel with Rev. Ed Parton and Rev. Tim Rauhuff officiating.
