Elizabeth’s Obituary Elizabeth R. Hartzell, 91, passed away suddenly at the Lutheran Community at Telford, on Friday, January 18, 2019. She was the loving wife of the late Abraham H. Hartzell. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was a daughter of the late Jesse and Margaret (Evans) Fluke. Mrs. Hartzell was employed as a secretary for the Pennridge School District for 15 years, prior to her retirement in 1992. Mrs. Hartzell enjoyed spending her time painting, writing songs, and gardening. She was particularly proud of the flower beds she tended around the Telford VFW Post 5308, where her late husband Abraham was a Charter Member. She is survived by her sons: Danny Hartzell of Perkasie, and Johnny Hartzell of NY, grandchildren: Scott Hartzell and his wife Leslie, and Sabrina Bender and her husband Joe, and six great grandchildren. Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at 2:00 PM in the Sadler-Suess Funeral Home, 33 N. Main St., Telford, PA 18969. Family will receive friends from 1-2 PM prior to the service. Private Interment will be held at a later date in the Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.
