OBITUARY Elizabeth Ann Tidwell December 4, 1946 – January 9, 2019 Sikeston – Elizabeth Ann Tidwell, age 72, passed away on January 9, 2019 at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, MO. She was born December 4, 1946 in Sikeston, MO., to the late Ocie and Marscilene Stoker Vandiver. She graduated from Matthews High School in Matthews, MO.; she was a member of Canalou Baptist Church in Canalou, MO. She worked for twenty three years as a teacher’s aide in the learning disability class in the New Madrid School District. In October 1964 she married Eugene Scott who preceded her in death. In 1980 she married James Tidwell who preceded her in death in November 2004. Survivors include: two sons and two daughters-in-Law, James and Debbie Scott of Portageville, MO. and Bradley and Kelly Scott of Cape Coral FL.; one brother Terry Vandiver of Mansfield, TX.; two sisters, Pamela Williams of Campbell, MO. and Kimberly Brand of Addison, TX.; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by two sisters, Ida Vandiver and Vickie Spencer; one grandson, Joseph Scott. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 11, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at 10:30 a.m. at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel, Bro. Dewayne Coleman pastor of Canalou Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will follow at Matthews Cemetery in Matthews, MO. Pallbearers will be: Matt Williams, Daniel Porter, Rodney Morgan, Johnny Vines, Mark Coppage, Riley Scott, Clayton Hensley and Colton Scott.
