Elaine Houseworth Loganbill October 2 1922 January 20 2019

Elaine Houseworth Loganbill, 96, passed away Sunday, January 20, 2019 at Pratt Rehab and Residence Center. She was born October 2, 1922 in Lima, Ohio to Arthur Landon and Pearl Charlotta (Schulte) Houseworth. On July 11, 1943, she married Fernan C. Loganbill in Lima, Ohio. He preceded her in death March 2, 2015. She moved to Pratt from Newton in 2011. She was a member of Bethel College Mennonite Church in Newton. During the 40’s-70’s she was in Beta Sigma Phi. When she was younger she enjoyed writing poetry and dancing. In her later years she enjoyed sewing and quilting. She is survived by her son, Mike (Denise) Loganbill of Pratt; daughter, Judy Loganbill of Wichita; grandchildren, Amy and Angela Loganbill; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fernan; parents; and brother, Brant Houseworth. Cremation has taken place. A family memorial service will be held at a later date. Inurnment will be in Bethel College Mennonite Church Columbarium. Memorials may be made to Mennonite Central Committee (MCC) in care of Larrison Mortuary, 300 Country Club Road, Pratt.
