Sympathies message

  1. I recently found a poem written by Edward Roy, who may be the father of this young man with the same name, if my mathematical brain works correctly. I was the English teacher of this Edward Roy some year between 1969 and 1972 at Cathedral High. It is a poem with a great deal of sympathy embodied in words. It would mean something to anyone. I would like to share it with the family but do not want to come to an inadequate conclusion or intrude on grief. I would appreciate your counsel.
