Clay Booher, 56, passed away at 8:57 a.m. on January 17, 2019, with his family by his side. Clay was born on June 25, 1962, to Natalie and Gary Bond. He was raised in the Arkansas area and graduated from Springdale High School in 1980. He moved to Oklahoma where he spent the majority of his life with short stays in Dodge City, Kansas, and Lewiston, Idaho, but he eventually came back home to Oklahoma. He started his 30-year plus career at 18 years old at Wal-Mart where he met and married the love of his life, Jerry Graham Booher. They married on April 30, 1982, and were married 36 years. They made their home in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Of that union, four children and three grandchildren made their way into this world. Clay enjoyed hunting with his son, Richard, fishing and anything outdoors. He was a craftsman and could build anything from hanging outdoor beds to deer antler lamps to his own picnic tables. He loved to cook and could make anything — a trait he involved his granddaughters in every chance he got. What Clay enjoyed most was his time with his family. Sunday dinners were routine. His greatest accomplishment in life is his family whom he was very proud of. Clay is survived by his parents, Natalie and Gary Bond; four brothers, Tony Carie, Richard Booher, Greg Booher, and Daniel Bond; three sisters, Marla Gillenwater, Jill Fell, and Arreya Bond; his wife of the home, Jerry Graham Booher; his daughter, Natalie Booher; three sons, Michael Booher, Richard Booher, and Dale Booher; three grandchildren, Caly Booher, Kianna Booher, and Rogan Clay Booher; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his grandparents; his favorite uncle, Richard “Dick” Coon; his sister, Terri Rae Booher; his niece, Jane Ann Foster; his father-in-law, Marvin Graham; and numerous other relatives.
