Obituary for Carol Ann Sheffield Print Carol Ann Sheffield, 76, of West Columbia earned her wings Saturday, January 26, 2019 in Angleton. She was born August 31, 1942 to Louise Irene & Frank Lane Sheffield in Port Arthur, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters: Millie Thibodeaux and husband Albert, Nida Lee Garrett and husband David, and Jessie Lee Yawn and husband Britt; son Herman “Shae” Coleman; and grandsons Kelly Adam and Brandon Hunter Campbell. She is survived by sons, Michael John O’Grady, Shaun Patrick O’Grady and wife Dorothy, and Shane Timothy O’Grady; daughter Shanna Colleen Efird; 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews & friends. Ms. Sheffield worked for the US Army Corps of Engineers for 27 years; retired in about 2004. She was deeply loved & will be missed by many. Funeral services are scheduled for 12:00 p.m. Thursday January 31, 2019 at Mount Olivet Baptist Church in Fred, Texas. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the Church.
