BEVERLY A DeNISE 2019

BEVERLY A. DENISE Beverly A. DeNise, 86, of Piqua, passed away at 8:00 a.m. Saturday January 12, 2019 at the Piqua Manor Nursing Home. She was born September 15, 1932 in Brookline, Massachusetts to the late Ernest W. and Catherine (Kalki) Kierstead. She married Richard F. “Dick” DeNise June 13, 1953 in Troy, he preceded her in death November 7, 2007. Survivors include one son, Craig (Andra) DeNise of Englewood; one daughter, Cathy Steinke of Piqua; five grandchildren, Kelly (Steve) Beckett, Michael (Megan) DeNise, Matthew (Kilee) DeNise, Adam DeNise, and Sarah (David Morgan) DeNise; daughter-in-law, Nancy DeNise; and many other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by one son, Curtis DeNise. Mrs. DeNise was a graduate of Troy High School and was a wonderful homemaker, wife, mother and grandmother; raising her family with her wonderful sense of humor. She was a member of the Covington Athena Club and the Troy Christian Church where she was active with its Bible Study program. She loved her family, traveling with her husband and was an avid Cincinnati Reds fan. She will be deeply missed by her family and many friends. A service to honor her life will begin at 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Thornton officiating. Burial will follow at Beechwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12-2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Troy Christian Church, 1440 E. St. Rt. 55, Troy, OH 45373.
