Andrea K Johnson 2019

Andrea K. Johnson, 65 of Collinsville, Illinois passed away on Friday, January 25, 2019 at Anderson Hospital. Andrea was born on December 19, 1953 in East St. Louis; the daughter of the late Joseph E. and Shirley Rose (Lexa) Johnson. Andrea was a customer service representative for Trans Union Credit Bureau for over 30 years and had attended Tri City Assembly of God in Granite City. In her free time Andrea enjoyed her days watching the St. Louis Cardinals, especially Yadi Molina who was her favorite player. Andrea loved her family and enjoyed the Thanksgiving Day family “get togethers”. She looked forward to having “lunch with the ladies” or just staying at home watching TV. Andrea will be remembered for her kind heart and all the special times her and her family shared together. She is survived by and will be missed by her sister; Terri Johnson of Glen Carbon, Illinois; aunts, Lois (Ray) Vaughn of Chandler, Airizona, Bobbie Lexa, Melba Kocurek of Cahokia, Illinois; uncle, Ronald (Sandy) Lexa of Janesville, Wisconsin; cousin, John (Peggy) Johnson and numerous other cousins and close family members and friends. In addition to her parents, Andrea was preceded in death by uncles; Frank Lexa, Ronnie Kocurek; aunt, Joyce (Robert) Tallent. In celebration of Andrea’s life, services will be held on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Reiss Chapel at Lake View Cemetery in Fairview Heights. Burial will follow at the cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Tri City Assembly of God, 3400 Maryville Road in Granite City. Irwin Chapel, 591 Glen Crossing Road is serving the family.
