Funeral services for Aaron Reue, 35 of Lincoln, Texas, are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at Phillips and Luckey Funeral Home in Giddings with Rev. Gail Beck officiating. Burial will follow in the Giddings City Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 1, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday, February 2, 2019 from 7:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Phillips and Luckey Funeral Home in Giddings. The family will be present for visitation Friday evening from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Aaron Lee Reue was born on March 28, 1983 in Potter County, Texas, the son of Larry & Laura (Ferris) Reue. He was baptized at the First Assembly of God in Giddings. Aaron attended school in Giddings and graduated from High School in 2001. He worked as a chef in fine cuisine restaurants such as Monzi’s for several years. Aaron loved music and played the guitar and drums in a band called Deuces Wild. He enjoyed going to concerts and listened to all genres of music. He loved cooking and riding his motorcycle with his friends. Most of all, Aaron looked forward to being able to hang out with his family and friends. Aaron passed away the morning of Wednesday, January 30, 2019 from injuries he sustained in an automobile accident near Paige. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Otto & Elsie Reue. Aaron is survived by his parents, Larry & Laura Reue of Lincoln; his sister, Venus Kuchling & her husband, Jeffrey of Illinois; two nieces, Destyni Kitchen & her husband, Anthony of Missouri, and Harmyni Combs of Missouri; one nephew, Makay Combs of Missouri; three aunts, Bernice Kennedy of Paige, Theresa and husband Glennon McBride of Florida, Sandra and husband Gary Morris of Rockwall and uncle Rene Reue of Angleton.
