Obituary of Wendy Turner Wendy Elaine Turner Wendy Elaine (Maddison) Turner, of Fairport, New York, born on February 28, 1962 in Rochester, New York, passed peacefully to the loving arms of the Lord at age 56 on December 5, 2018 in Webster, New York after an extended and courageous battle with cancer. Wendy was a loving mother and is survived by her parents Virginia Crumley and Raymond Maddison; her son, Michael Turner; daughter, Katie Turner; brother, James (Debbie) Maddison; sisters, Laurie (Robb) Pierce and Karen (Byrne) O’Brien; half-sister Carolyn (Chris) Schofield; loving companion, Alan Tanghe; sister-friend Kathie Frate; special friends Amy Thomas and Mary Hall; cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many other friends. She also leaves behind her beloved pets Lilly, Lola, Chloe, Sensei and Shane. Donations in Wendy’s name to American Cancer Society and Animal Rescue Organization of choice are welcome and appreciated, no flowers please. Friends and family members may attend the celebration of life, officiated by Nate Miller, on Friday, December 14 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Northridge Church, 2052 St. Paul Street, Rochester. Reception to immediately follow.
