Obituary for Violet Bernice LaBelle Violet Bernice LaBelle, age 97 years, of Cairo, passed away on December 15, 2018 at home. She was born on March 10, 1921, in Newburgh, N.Y. and is the daughter of the late George and Irena (Baxter) Curry. During her lifetime she was an inspector for Kerfott Comppany in New Jersey. She has been a resident of Cairo for over thirty years. Survivors include her daughter Irena C. Algozzine of Cairo, great granddaughter Diandra , and her great grandsons Joshua, Christopher and Daniel. Besides her parents, and her husbands, she was predeceased by her granddaughter Kim Anne, and her grandson Richard.
