OBITUARY Vernon Don Williams Sr. July 3, 1943 – December 22, 2018 Vernon Don Williams Sr., 75, of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away Saturday, December 22, 2018. He was born in Levelland, Texas on July 3, 1943. Vernon graduated from Hockley County High School. He went on to have a career in Property Management and owned Sundown Mobile Home Village. Vernon was a hardworking family man, who loved to spend time with his family. He also had a great love for the outdoors, and enjoyed deer hunting and fishing. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed. Vernon is survived by his 2 sons, Vernon Don Williams Jr. and Dwayne Burton Williams, and his 2 grandchildren, Janel Elaine Williams and Hunter Don Williams. A Visitation will be held from 6:00pm-8:00pm Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at Chapel Hills Funeral Home, 850 St. Johns Bluff Rd N, Jacksonville FL 32225. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00am Thursday, December 27, 2018, followed by Graveside Services, at Chapel Hills Funeral Home. Arrangements are under the care of Hardage-Giddens Chapel Hills, 850 St. Johns Bluff Rd N., Jacksonville FL 32225.
