Jorgensen, 93 of Brewster Heights died December 20, at Portsmouth Regional Hospital. Born in Hallefors, Bergslagen, Sweden where his father was an executive in water power, June 5, 1925 son of the late Skat Harry and Corla (Lundstrom) Jorgenson he moved to the United States in 1947. Stig served during WWII with the Swedish Army. The surrounding nature in Sweden was full of lakes and forests which began his love of nature. He had some kind of dyslexia which had nothing to do with his IQ and his father his father had a difficulties to accept this. Stig moved to Wolfeboro in 2000 previously living in Greenland, NH. He was an Electrical Engineer and owned Flash Technology. He was a member of the First Christian Church in Wolfeboro, the Lions Club and Rotary. Stig was the youngest of three brothers. Pre-deceased by two brothers Ulf Jorgensen and Jogen Jorgensen he is survived by his wife Asta (Slaatten) Jorgensen of Wolfeboro, 2 daughters Inger Marie Young of Ossipee, Dawn Eerin Kieling of Rochester, 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Service were 1:00 PM Saturday December 22 at the First Christian Church in Wolfeboro. The Baker-Gagne Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Wolfeboro is assisting the family with the arrangements. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his name to Meals on Wheels in Wolfeboro, NH.
