Obituary for Stanley F. Dziedzic Stanley F. Dziedzic, 85, of Fuller Road, Amsterdam, NY; (Town of Florida) passed away Tuesday afternoon, December 4, 2018 at St. Mary’s Healthcare in Amsterdam, NY. Born in Rockville, Connecticut on January 4, 1933, he was the son of the late Frank and Ann Krawczyk Dziedzic. Stanley received his education at the Belldons Road School in the Town of Florida and Wilbur H. Lynch High School in Amsterdam. Stanley retired as an electrician from General Electric after 28 years and was a member of the G.E. Quarter Century Club. Stanley was an honorably discharged United States Army veteran, serving from 1955 to 1957. He had the gifted ability to repair and build anything mechanical or otherwise that needed to be operational, or be able to function as intended. Stanley was married to Joan A. McKittrick Dziedzic on April 25, 1954. Joan passed away June 23, 2012. Stanley is survived by two sons, Steven Dziedzic (Valerie) of Gloversville, NY, and Robert Dziedzic (Tina) Town of Florida, one brother, Henry Dziedzic of Amsterdam, two grandchildren, Sarah Clark (Kevin) and Danielle Linquanti (Derek), three great grandchildren, one aunt, Jane Rood, one cousin, Henry Gondarowski of Fort Plain, NY; sister-in-law, Norma Porteus of Edinburg, NY and several other nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 8, 2018 at 12 noon at the Riley Mortuary, Inc., 110 Division Street, Amsterdam, NY 12010 with Rev. Jeffrey L’Arche, M.S. officiating. Relatives and friends may call from 10:00 to 12:00 prior to the service at the Riley Mortuary. Interment will be private at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery in Schuylerville, NY. Memorial gifts in Stanley’s name may be made to St. Mary’s Church, 156 East Main Street, Amsterdam, NY 12010.
